hi there.i started working on 1975(i think) 850 mercury(7044189)and need help with any info about adjusting throttle and shift cables.do i have to take cables out of engine housing?or its done at controls box.motor has high rpms at start and reverse gear not fully engaging.is it just an adjustment or its a bigger problem.
