Merc 888 outdrive waterpump

I am trying to figure out which water pump kit to get. This is a 1977 888 , 188hp Eng. # 4614980, Stern drive #4638407. I am assuming from the manual that it is an "I" drive but water pump lists on here and other sites don't list one for an "I" drive! How do I know that in fact it is an I drive and is there another name for it?

I think, from reading another post that it is called an MC-1. Am I correct?

from '67-'82 the drive was a MC-1.
