Ok...
Simple enough - I've gotten all the other stuff on my boat working, EXCEPT for this $!%#$ trim leak...
The problem? Well, the trim rams & pump work fine, the drive goes up & down...
But cycling it through one 'up' and 'down' motion results in dumping an entire res full of ATF 'somewhere'....
I believe I've isolated the problem to the 'down' circuit, as the 'UP' circuit pressurizes & reaches it's limit easily, the 'down' is sluggish as hell even with a full res...
I have one opaque plastic hose coming out of my pump, and one fabric-coated hose - I think this means that the 'fabric coated' hose is OE or close to it, and the plastic one is a replacement....
I see ATF in the bilge water, but can't quite figure out where the leak is...
Is there any way to replace the hoses without pulling the engine?
