Merc 9.9 dies at idle runs great with throttle open

Anyone have any issues with their motor dying at idle? My 2005 9.9 will start if I have the throttle open and if I keep giving it gas it runs great. If I let off the throttle for it to idle down it dies.

Multiple posts on same issue. This one, newer, just forgets to mention the carb is in pieces

The carb is actually back together which is why I posted this after the previous post. Carb clean did not help

You said the engine was dying in your first post, where you had the carb all apart. an hour later you posted this one. You should have just continued with your original post
