Ok, i have a 2009 Merc 4 stroke efi 90. immaculate condition, very low hours. has ran great, but here lately, it will run right for a couple minutes, and then fall on its face, running very rough, etc. when it does this, you can pump the primer bulb essentially filling up the module, and it will pick up and run again almost immediately. now, my question is, would it be the lift pump, or the float switch? I feel pretty confident its one of those 2, but i hate to buy both unnecessarily, as we all know they aren't cheap. also, i have already been in the module to inspect the small hose that typically splits, and it is fine and not split. any opinions? I'm split as to which it may be, but pretty confident its one of those. anybody?
