Merc. Alpha 1 trim PROBLEM

I have a 95 Sea Ray 195 b/r with a 4.3LX & Alpaha 1 gen 2 outdrive. I was cleaning the engine compartment & noticed 2 BLACK wire's (1 male & 1 female) laying there not connected to anything near the Trim pump area, the wire's are going into the transom. Would this be for the trim Limit sensor ? Where would this connect to ? I looked up the wiring diagram & it doesn't show it.

Ayuh,... They probably go to the trim Gauge... If the trim Limit is disconnected, the trim don't work...

The trim work's fine & the gauge work's also. I just got the boat in november & just trying get it ready to go into the water. I really don't know if it's suppose to be connected or not. There are 2 set's of Black wire's (2 wire's each)coming from the transom, 1 go's to the trim gauge & don't know where the other go's.
