I have a 2005 Merc. OB 50 HP 4 stroke Ser# 1B021809, Mod # 50elptefi.
While shopping for a prop I discovered I have 15 tooth spline on prop shaft.
Where can I get definite info. if I have a Bigfoot or not?
I believe the BF has that in the model # ( 50 ELPT BF EFI) but one way to check for sure is the lower unit gear ration. the Std is 1.83 the BF is 2.3
Take off the cowl and turn the flywheel and check the ratios.
