Merc Carb rebuild and choke to electric question

Hey Everyone. So my Carb is rebuilt for my 120. I had the old style choke converted to electric. My question is do I now plug both holes (one on carb and one on engine) where the old stove pipe used to be?

Unless the hole on the intake goes inside and would create a vacuum leak, it and the carb end can be left alone
