Merc Choke

I have 1980 merc with GM 305 with a Rochester 4 bl. The choke coil spring is no longer working. I am having a hard time finfing a replacement, does anyone know of an automotive one that would work. It is (bimetalic) I guess.

Try your local GM dealer -- one that has a parts guy that is at least at least 16 years older than your engine.
