I replace the boots every two years. Sometimes they need it, sometimes I do it just because. I have been using OEM parts, just because... What do you all think of aftermarket parts?

I would think someone is making theese out of a better material than the good ol' black rubber that doesnt seem to wear all that well. Does anyone know of one that seems better than another? Sillicone maybe? Theres got to be something. Maybe im dreaming.

No silicone or any thing fancy out there. However, the ones from Sierra and GLM (stilll rubber) are just as good as the merc boots, but cost much less.

Thanks for the reply 180shabah, I was hoping someone out there had built a better mousetrap.
