Ok here we go I have a 1993 rinker with a mercruiser 4.3 alpha one outdrive the other day I put a fuel / water seperator on it started just fine took it out on lake and it ran like it should now 2 days later I take it out and its hard to start it just turns over and sounds like it wants to start but it takes about 10 minutes of cranking to start it. I figured maybe it was cold but I ran it for 2 hours had fun no problems with it at all then cut it off to go get the truck came back 5minutes later and the same thing just turns over sounds like it wants to start then about 5 minutes of cranking finally fires up runs fine after that.
Any Ideas.......
Im going to dump the new filter in a jar tomm. to see if maybe the tank had a lot of water and the filter is already saturated.
