Merc I/O pre alpha Tilt/Trim rebuild

I have a 1979 Glastron with a 140 Merc I/O and the Tilt/Trim is not working. The electric motor spins but there is a grinding noise in the lower part of the casing. Is there a rebuild kit for these availible? I have done a lot of searching on this and I am coming up empty. Does anyone have one laying around that they can part with?

Ayuh,.....

You'll do Better to Trash your's,+ Update it to the newer plastic tank 1s.....

You'll be able to get rid of the reverse Lock as well...

The newer 1s are about $300.00 Aftermarket,+ maybe 1/2 that or Less used on ebay......

will I have to change the cylinders? From what I have found they are a high pressure low volume pump but I don't really know what that mean in term's of the cylinders.

Nope,.... The cylinders Don't Care which pump you use......
