Merc Ident Problem

Hi, Im new to the forum, and from what Ive seen you guys are good! So here is my problem, I have a 1500, 150 HP Merc Outboard. The S/N is 7067344, I have confirmed this number in 2 different spots on the motor. I went the the Merc web site and typed the number in and it could not find it. Does anybody have any other tricks to Identifying this motor in more detail for me. I dont even know what year it is, or if it is a good, med, or poor quality motor. WOW, You guys are good, and fast! i might be pushin my luck, but do you know any specs on it? Like if it was a solid model or where it rated on the high/low end scale. Thanks again, Im am truly impressed.<br />Mike
