Can anyone out there shed some light on something i came across on Youtube. I saw a video of a 45 HP classic 50 4 cylinder running titled Bad trigger or something like that. It showed somebody using a timing light and you could see that on the same plug was firing multiple times on the same revolution of the flywheel. In looking at the schematic for this ignition system i see that there only two trigger coils . i haven't pulled the flywheel yet but as i see it the trigger should fire at least two plugs at once. i have seen it done on 2 cyl ONAN engines that have only one coil with 2 leads. I am currently chasing down a spark issue on a classic 50 and i want to know what any Merc pros know about this.Thanks
