I've agreed to get a buddy's 1997 Jet 30hp (model 0G475427) running. All's well with the repair, but he doesn't have an owner's manual and I don't know how much water should be coming out of the two ports just below the power head/cover. All I've got is a dribble at high idle, but I've had Force motors where that was standard procedure. 90% of their exhaust/cooling water discharge happened underwater. Anybody experienced with this motor (it's actually a 40hp 4 cylinder which is rated 30hp with the jet lower unit)?<br /><br />Also, how hot should the power head get to the touch when the water pump is working properly?<br /><br />Thanx much,<br /><br />Kelley
