i have a 1989 sea swirl that i just replaced a the omc motor with merc. and when i putter around there is no problems but at 3000 rpm's or so the engin shuts down after a few minutes. and is hard to start back like the battery is dead with alot of lag. but after 5 or 10 min. it starts right up anyone know why this might happen,other than just my bad luck.
