I've an older 2 cylinder motor and am trying to find out the hp., size. The only #'s I can find are stamped in the engine block, 6872-7824. I'm not sure of the first # of the secound set it may not be a 7. It does have the mercury igsignia on the block in 2 places. Can anyone could help with any information on this motor. It also has the word comet on the side of the block.
