Out today, working (research). ran fine... hit 20+kts on a stretch, sounded like I was hitting the bottom (I wasn't) throttled back, felt OK throttled up and ran like crap. Shut her down, prop etc.. looked fine, pushing water, fuel ball had a prime... started her up, and she shut down as soon as I put her into gear.....

we had a bad injector last year, but the engine would still run... I have a bad bad bad feeling it's lower unit gear? Supposed to get it looked at tomorrow, and if it's bad it's off to a dealer cert. mechanic... just wanted to see if you guys had an opinion..

Second question:
When I changed batts this winter I seemed to have reset my smart gauges.. they all read "0"

Anyone know how to reset them w/o getting them done by a dealer?!
