I have a 1979 Merc inline 6 90hp.Last year as the season went on I found it harder and harder to start my motor.I would run it for a while then sit and fish for about 45min and the motor was hard to get started.I was wondering if it could be from fouled plugs or somthing else. When I start her cold it takes a few cranks and then I have to let it warm up a little.Any help would be great.thank You

If you think it's fouled plugs remove them and check them. Those engines are notoriously cold blooded. What's your starting procedure?

Good idea to inspect the fuel supply lines. If you're check valves or primer bulb are failing, the fuel could run back to the tank making hard to start after sitting for a while.

When was the last time the carbs and/or fuel pump were rebuilt?

The bulb is new and the fuel lines are new.It seems that it is hard to start only after I have run it awhile. If I start it a min or two after I shut it off it starts quick. If I shut it down and let it sit for 30min or so its hard to get started and I think one time it may have flooded on me.
