Guys
I need to replace the "O" rings in my old Merc tilt/trim cylinders. To do so, I need a 1 1/4 spanner wrench. The usual local places just look at me! Daa what's a spanner? Anyway... Is this a tool available from Merc. I'm wondering if the pins might be unique to this set up.

Thanks

Ed, I used a universal boat deck plate key until I lost it in the drink. Then I made a spanner out of two 6" pieces of angle iron. Bolt the angle iron together at one end and drill holes at the other end to receive bolts and nuts that just fit the holes in the tilt cylinder.

Whenever I get a counter man with the reaction of "huh" to a request, I confiscate his catalog and let him go on about selling spark plugs, and look it up myself.
