Hello Forum Readers

Can anyone give me more information about the Merc Control box shown in the attached photos?

I have been able to identify it as "Standard Commander" Series.

It has "turn key to start engine" feature and also has a push button on top (not turn key to choke) to energize the choke.

Also features a fast idle lever to assist in starting.

Everything works slick but I have no idea where (what HP) or when (model year) this was used. I have not seen the shown connector pin arrangement before. My Mercs use the 8 pin round config.

I could proably figure out the pin assignments on this connector, but if somone has data, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John
