Merc warning module 97 150

The warning hore stays on when the ignition iss turned on. I checked the module according to the manual and it failed. Is there a test -off motor- to make sure.? $270 is a lot to be wrong

Depending on which,where the oil tank sensor is, unplug the light blue wires and turn the key on.

If the alarm does not stay on then you can order a new oil tank or sensor.

Need more info after you test.

Some models the magnet on the bottom of the float comes off, triggering the sensor/switch.

Other models the sensor itself can go bad, stuck on.
