Mercontrol throttle box... grease to use?

good day all,

I wanted to know what type of grease to use to lubricate my throttle box gear control?

When I open the unit up, it appears to be a standard automotive grease, but I was finding info in the forum about White Lithium Grease? Would this be sufficient?

I use the White Lithium Grease myself and so far have had no problems and I am sure it it much cheaper.

So, what your saying is that the White Lithium Grease is a spray and not a grease, right?

I just want to make sure I get and use the right product.

it comes in both
best is spray down then grease it

Enough...spray it down with Walmart "White grease"...not rocket science..(do a DARN good check on frayed/deteriorated switch wires)
