Trim is relative, it cannot be set to one position and left there.

It will vary depending on load, conditions, etc.

Most boat owners trim by feel.

Ultimately, you want the engine to run "easy" at the thottle level you set. Most engines have a "sweet spot" where they sound good and seem to run quietly, with little stress. That would be your goal.

Remember, best trim will constantly change.

The oldest adage in the world is: The questions will lead you to the answer.
Your question isn't a question, it is simply tells us what equipment you have and most of us are looking for particular problems we know about and can help with.
You should re-post with more specific information.
If you were to say in the Topic.. "What is proper rpms for Merc 135 with Alpha OD at normal and WOT" you would get info from folks who have specific, experience-based knowledge.
You came to the right website, cause these folks do have knowledge that will help. But they look for Topics that match their knowledge base.
So just re-post your Topic with a question that they might be familiar with.
Good luck and welcome aboard....

WOT should be about 44/4600RPMs......
Cruise will normally be in the 2500/3500RPM range.......

I don't know Skiph.........
I understand Perfectly.........
