Mercruiser 1997 5.7L & Bravo III Outdrive -Engine Coupler Greasing Interval Extension

My 1997 Merc engine & Bravo drive has a 50 hour interval specified for the engine/drive coupler lube which necessitates removal of the outdrive to do the job because there are no grease fittings on the coupler. My boating is on a quiet lake with few large wakes and I never run it over 3400 RPM's, most of the time it runs at around 2800-3000 RPM's. I use the boat 60-75 hours a year. Lubing the coupler is a rea pain because I don't have a trailer so I have to get the local boat shop to meet me at a boat ramp, put the boat on their trailer and take it to their shop to do the coupler lube job. Expensive & a pain you know where.

I'm wondering if anyone here has the same setup and has exceeded the 50 hour interval by 15-25 hours on a regular basis without having a coupler failure?
