Mercruiser 292 straight 6 lifter covers

Does any body know were i could get a set of mercruiser 292 straight 6 lifter covers?i've asked a few places but to no avail ..i have the standard auto type on my engine now but would like the mercruiser aluminum ones.. Thank you ....

A co worker of mine just picked one up from Marine Power Service in NJ. They are mail order Mercruiser dealer google them and give a call. I here those rocker covers are getting rare. The straight six truck guys like them alot. Good luck.

I would look at the 250 cc..i. engine also This engine was/ is more popular that the the 292 and had a longer production run that the 292 . I am pretty sure they are dimensionally the same as the 250 engine which was the Mecruiser 165 HP engine The 292 took less abuse if it was under propped due to the long stroke of this engine

Lifter covers are NOT the same. The 292's are alot taller covers.
