Hi,
I purchased the alignment tool and checked it. It is a little hard to go in. The grease marks are heavier on the top than on the bottom. So reading Don's sticky I figure that I need to move the front of the motor down. My problem is that I can not get a wrench in there to move the nuts. I can get to the top 1 1/4" nut on an angle and my be able to loosen that one. But there is no way that I can get a wrench on to either of the bottom two. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance.

here is a link of what my mount looks like

You can use a 'crows foot' wrench with the appropiate extension:

ahh, Good idea! I will try to locate one large enough as my set only goes up to 7/8".

A set? You are a bonafide gearhead...most people have never seen their first one, much less own a set.

Happy boating!

Yes, I guess that I am a gear head. I have all the tools I need to work on a car. The problem is the special tools needed to work on boats. If I need a specialty tool to work on a car I can rent it. It would be pretty cool if there was a place that rented specialty boat tools.
