My 3.0 TKS mercruiser wants to stumble or stall on acceleration until about 1800 rpm, runs great above this. I have replaced fuel filters, tuned engine with new plugs wires and cap/rotor. Carb was rebuilt in April. Can I remove TKS and run engine? whats best way to determine if TKS solenoid is bad?

Your symptoms tell me its the accelerator pump, not the module.

The module when cold and open allows the carb to put more fuel in the motor. Once warm the module closes off and then there is less gas. If the module is open (retracted) then you should hear some extra hissing from the carb.

You can disconnect the module and run the motor but all this should do is give the motor more fuel.

This is the 3.0 wiring, so note if your not getting to much fuel then its the accelerator pump more then likely

Have you checked or are you aware of the enrichment adjustment that often needs tampered with not long after new ? It's sneakily kept behind a sealed cover that needs sneakily removed for adjustment.
Quite a common thing with the 3.0 tks in particular
