I had a tick under my valve cover and needed to do a rocker arm adjustment so I decided to bring along my video camera. I hope this helps out...

Good vid.

Couple of thoughts,

Would it not be better to remove the spark plugs at the start to make your first 15 seconds of dry cranking a little easier on the starter?

Is it a good idea to loosen the fuel pipe just at the carb and bend it out of the way (straining the fuel pipe).

What was the reason for the first 15 seconds of dry crank, does the engine have hydraulic lifters?

Cheers

You could but I didn't

I loosened the bottom of the fuel line at the pump as well so it swiveled out of the way.

Yes they are hydraulic lifters...

This video is just a visual aid to what the manual says. I couldn't put every single step in there or the video would be an hour long...
