Mercruiser 3.0l Cylinder Head Interchange.

I am in need of a replacement head for my 1993 3.0l cylinder head, casting number 14096620. I am having a hard time finding the exact same casting number. I have found a head from a 1999 model 3.0l on craigslist, I am unsure of the casting number right now.

Does anyone know of any other model heads that would work? I am having some trouble even finding information on head interchanges.

I did find some good information in there, but still haven't been able to find any good cylinder head yet. I have had a couple people tell me to check with Odessa Cylinder Heads in FL. I found a head they had listed on eBay that looked similar to mine, and they listed it to fit 1975-1993 years 2.5/3.0 (mine is 1993) I sent them a message and asked if it would fit my engine, they said they didn't think so. It looks exactly as mine from the one image they list though.

Can anyone else tell me if it would interchange?

What's wrong with the head you have? Unless it's cracked, it can be rebuilt.

Its cracked on both corners on the rear of the head
