Mercruiser's are good powerplants. The GM 350 is a workhorse. I'd ask for receipts in regards to the "fresh block" though. It's real easy to say that's what's there, if it's true, there will be a record of the work. If the seller says there is none, ask to take the boat to your mechanic for a check up.
