Mercruiser 470 Fuel?

Just got the boat on the water after many repairs to the cooling system, anyway the boat ran great for about 30 minutes and then it seems to starve for fuel when I accelerate. It will seem like it is going to stall out but if I back off the throttle is runs fine. It only seems to do this when it warms up to normal temp. Could this be a timing issue?

I have the Mercruiser 470 in a 1983 Galaxie

could be, but is the fuel pressure good?

did you recently perform a tune-up?

did you check the idle timing and advance timing?

Yeah just did a tune up on it but it did the same thing prior to the tune up as well. I'm not sure about the fuel pressure or the timing.

being that a tune-up was recently performed, you should check and adjust dwell, then check and adjust timing.

when dwell and timing are set, then inspect fuel system
