Mercruiser 470 Serivce manual

I did look up alot manual on link on Iboats forum, But

Im want make sure clear.. I supposed look #3 serivce? not #8?

It 1980 Mercruiser 470 Series number is 5520542.

But 8 and 3 almost are same.. mmm

yer serial number falls in line with sm #3. MCM 470 4886620 - 6218036
i'd suspect for your drive #4... confirm it by serial number too..

mmm I read both 3 and 8 are look same and same torque spec.. and etc.. for engine overhaul i mean like im going put new Piston and Rod, BEarings ,main bearings. and Crank

I know my Is Pre Alpha "R" Drive

Ayuh,...

There are subtle changes in the motor,+ they are seperated by serial #...
Many,. actually Most of the motors are the Same,.... It's only a few fine points..
