Well right now its taking a smack from a wrench to get my boat to start.
I pulled the solinoid off, it works as it should and I regreased it and reassumbled.
Hoping it would fix the problem.. but nope
Next I tried a piece of wire from the one terminal to the starter itself (its got the built in solinoid) but nothing
So a smack with a hammer got it spinning again but I should probably replace the starter.
Any advice? Any benefit to the earlier version without the solinoid?
Admittedly Ill probably sell the boat soon but I dont want to put junk in for whomever buys it next
