mercruiser 4cyl 120 hp water in 1 cylinder

I hope someone can help me I have a1986 mercruiser 120 hp 4cyl
I went to start it and it seized after pulling the plugs and duping oil down the cylinders I got it to turn but noticed water coming from the back cylinder
i have had this boat for 7 years show i kiss it goodbye

sounds like a leaky riser. pull the drive, dry the cylinders, run the motor for 15-20 sec. at a time without water to dry the cylinders and valves. Just make sure you dont melt the rubber couplings on the exaust.
Rusting starts quickly

I can't start the engine when I tried to start it it cracked the starter housing
any ideas

throw another starter in it, even a auto for now. Either you get in running as soon as possable or you throw it away.

had to take the head off no one had a starter the number 4 cyl was full of water
got all the water out and put some oil in the cylinders .I took the gaskets to a friend of mine thats a boat mechanic he said the head gasket looked ok and the manifold gasket looked good may be the head is warp and have to have it plained and multifluxed does this sound right
