Mercruiser 5.7, age of engine from serial number

Hi, I am fixing up an old Fletcher Arowbolt 22 with a Mercruiser 5.7 V8 inboard, and i am trying to identify the year of engine so i can get hold of the right manuals and parts list. The boat had a newer engine fitted a few years back and they had a few electrical problems and its not realy run since, there is a sticker on top which says MCM 5.7 LX EFI, the serial number on the small plate, on the block is K022061.

Any help to where i can find out the year would be great.

It's a 97 engine, and the ECM and wiring is setup for a Bravo outdrive.

Still not as clear as i thought is it service manual #17 i need.
