Hello,
My starboard riser and manifold runs 20 degrees hotter than the port side. The temp gauge reads 160. The warning buzzer goes off intermittently even though the engine is not exceeding 160. When I switched the hoses on the thermostat (clear hose from starboard manifold to port thermostat housing and clear hose from port manifold to starboard thermostat housing) the port riser runs hot and the starboard runs cool. I do have air bubbles from the thermostat housing on the starboard side but the port side is clear. The manifold and risers are clear and I put in a new thermostat housing and thermostat and new temp switch to the buzzer. The temp gauge seems to be working well. When I used a heat sensor gun on the engine it did not exceed 160. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
