Howdy,

I just downloaded the file. Aside from being a pretty large file I was able to open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I tried Adobe Reader 8.1.6 on Open SuSE Linux 11.1

And was also able to open it with Okular Version 0.7.3
Using KDE 4.1.3 "release 4.10.4"


This is the standard PDF reader that comes with the K Desktop environment KDE.... http://www.kde.org/


I assume that you're using Microshaft Windows....
You might want to ensure that you have the latest updates and service packs and the latest version of Acrobat Reader if that's what you're using.

I've had issues with the 2nd part of this manual as well. Tried several times and it's always corrupt. Part one opens with no problems.

I'm running XP SP3, 7-zip, acrobat 8 standard...

I'm not sure what you mean by "second part"....... When I downloaded the file it came across as a single 1.4 gb file and when I open it with either Acrobat Reader or Ocular, it opens as a 1092 page PDF.


The index covers Section 1-8,

The last section being "Power Steering" Is there more than 8 sections and is there another file?

There is a second download in the "new and improved" manuals. The first is as you describe, not sure whats in the second as I've never been able to open in. I'm in the process of downloading manual 3 from the old site to compare.

Follow the link to service manual and then to the #3 manual. You'll see the two PDF downloads. Only the 1st will download a usable file (for me)...

Amazing .............. There are THREE different links in the service manual thread (Click Here) for service manual #3.
The one in the index is in .pdf format. The other two are in the links for manuals ABOVE the index.
Just do some reading instead of skimming and clicking for a while and you can find out how to download them and what to do.

If you can't read the instructions to GET the manuals, I doubt you will ever read the manual to fix your engine.

i have downloaded from the old link the new link [both links] 7zip will not allow me to combine the files. same message apears"file is damaged and could not be repaired. thanks for all of the advise......oh and by the way i did read the read me file
