I have a 1988 renker spitfire that I have almost completely restored. I have a 6cyl mercruiser motor that I have completely rebuilt with an alpha 1 first generation outdrive. Ever since before the rebuild and still today, the motor will stall out approx 75% of the time when shifting from forward to reverse. The motor will then will restart immediately if I shift to neutral and restart. The problem seems to me to be electrical but I can't seem to figure out where the offending switch or relay may be or what it is. Thanks in advance for any help
