Hey all. I have a 93 mercruiser 3.0. I am replacing the fuel line which goes from the fuel pump to the carb, and have ran into an issue. This is the replacement line I am trying to use: Fuel Line Hose for Volvo Penta, Mercruiser, OMC Sterndrive/Cobra, Chris Craft, Chrysler Marine, Pleasurecraft, Indmar, Universal, Crusader - Sierra 18-8114 - iboats
I am assuming that the 90 degree bend goes in on the carb side, and it screws into the nut just fine. When I try and connect the straight end to the fuel pump, I run into the issue of having 2 male ends, and nothing to screw into. The original line I am replacing had a female nut on it that screwed into the 90 degree elbow on the fuel pump.
Question: Am I using the wrong part, and do I instead need a fuel line which has a female end on the fuel pump side? I am assuming this is the case, looking at the part diagram on mercruiserparts.com. If so, can you please direct me to the right part on iboats. I can't locate it.
Or, is there anything else I can do so I don't have to go through the return process?

See attached photos. The first photo is the fuel pump. The second photo is the old removed fuel line attachment to the fuel pump. The third and fourth photos are the new fuel line.
Thanks!
