Mercruiser Gimbal Bearing

Hi, I have a 1991 Alpha 1 Merc outdrive. I am experiencing vibration which is more noticable at low RPM. I am thinking of pulling the outdrive to check the gimbal bearing. Can anyone please give me an idea of whats involved in pulling the outdrive and changing the gimbal. Thanks in advance.
