My '05 Bayliner 175BR (3.0L) has a toggle switch where the kill switch would normally be. I am wondering what the lanyard kill switch looks like, and if I can change my toggle to one. A picture of the lanyard style would be greatly appreciated!

Was the deadman's lanyard switch an option?

Happy boating!

The lanyard has an elongated ring on it that goes over the toggle switch, then the switch is flipped up to the run position. If the lanyard pulsl out, it shuts the switch off.

That would be great if I only need the lanyard.

Any chance that iboats would have this? I am not having any luck coming up with a Mercruiser part number.

Thanks guys!

Ayuh,... Because it's probably a Bayliner part...

A few minutes,+ a piece of SSteel wire, I could make 1....

They are actually a Mercruiser part. The OEM part number is 15920Q54.
Might just call your local Merc dealer, the freight to ship one probably costs more than the part.
