I am at my wits end with this thing! It is an Alpha 1 Gen 1 leg. I replaced the o ring between the halves and the seal for the shaft that goes to the upper half. After that I tested the thing. It held 15 lbs for 2 days. I filled it up and let it set over the winter. Last night when I looked at it there were some drops of oil on the floor under the Skeg. It almost looks like the oil is coming out of that weeping hole in the back of the bottom half. Any idea what could be happening? I thought I was home free after the pressure test...

did you replace the 2 o-rings on the screws when you filled it up with oil? Same thing happened to me, all the oil drained out and i had a pool of green under my outdrive.

Just a few drops doesn't mean its leaking... after you have reassembled it. I had the same issue after a impeller change. But it was just residual from assembly. Top it off, let her sit... I bet you are fine.
