A little help please if you will. older 1976 Merc 888 that I am trying to get running is not producing a spark. In poking around I found the two light gauge tan wires on the threaded terminal of the coil to be very hot and traced this warmth all the way back towards the slave selanoid. I am guessing something is shorting but where do I begin?
