I have a monterey 248 with a mercruiser 350 mag mpi with bravo 3 drive.
I have a lack of power problem. The engine starts first time and revs freely out of gear but appears to only rev to about 2000 rpm with the stern drive connected (in gear) I have also noticed that the rev counter appears a little erratic and the Speedo does not work but I suspect this is due to a blocked intake.
The local agent is not very helpful thus my call for help, Any suggestions would be very appreciative.
