I've done some reading and i think that my steering cable may be corroded where it goes through the aluminum tube...
i have a 4.3 with alpha 1 gen2 and where the cable comes to the steering rack theres the little tube and then theres like a gold colored bracket with what looks like a 1/2 head bolt holding the bracket on. Is this the bolt that holds the steering cable in?
Also this bracket has another bolt on it where it can be adjusted. should i not touch that or will i screw something up...also i noticed this whole bracket will move up and down real easily...is that supposed to happen?
I know alot about motors but never have worked on boat stuff really...
