I am not sure if there is where I need to post this, so if not..I am sorry in advance.<br />I am thinking of getting a 4Winns with a 260HP mercruiser I/O. On the console is a switch for "vent" does this need to be engaged PRIOR to starting the engine, or does it need to be running all the time? <br />Its been a VERY long time since I have operated a I/O, and I would rather be safe then sorry.<br /><br />Thanks<br />John
