Just saw your posts. It sounds like there could be water in the system or an air leak in the fuel system.Get a water seperating/fuel filter and put it in-line.
if the squeeze ball and line are old replace them .(even a new squeezie can be bad)
Treat your fuel tank for water.Last rebuild the fuel pump.J

hesitation on acceleration is typical of a lean condition. Could be a dirty carb or set too lean

Re: mercury 110 hp hesitates at high speed

thank you for the replies.

i rebuild the fuel pump ( the diapram was busted) with 2 new kits complete last month. and the 3 carbs with new kits 3 weeks ago. i replaced the fuel line new primer bulb and installed new plugs.

i dont know exactly what is the right adjustments for the 3 carbs:

what is the first step:

adjust them same time how many turns? how about if it will not start?
adjust which one? how to adjust lean or rich? which to adjust first?

if the breaker points are bad it should not fire or it should backfire if one breaker is bad or both, how about the condensers?

if its too lean is that mean not enough gas? which turn should i go? if its too rich means too much gas, right?

during starting i have to put or squirt gas in the carb to start, is this normal?

if you pump the primer bulb till it gets hard , des this mean the reservoir on the carb is full and when you crank gas will be shooting in the throttle?

response please i need help

thank you guys
