Mercury 115 Model year??

Hallo Friends!<br /><br />I am from Austria and sorry for my english. I need your help please. I can get a used Mercury Outbord 115 ELPt with Serialnumber No.: OP037439<br /><br />The problem is, i cant find any productionyear from this enigne in the internetpages. What productionyear is it realy?? That number didn't help here. BUT one way to tell on the 115 is 1988 and older is a six cylinder and 1989 and never is a four cylinder. <br /><br />-W
