mercury 125 1996 warning sound problem

My ob has warning sound even with engine not running only key turned. three wires come to a block terminal on right side of engine if you are looking from back of the motor. I took tan wire off and it does not sound with this wire off, have ruled out over heat sensor and low oil sensor as causing alarm, where does tan wire go, I have tried to look for wireing diagram for this motor on the web but could not find, I,m pretty sure my problem is tied to where this wire goes. can anyone help Thanx Steve

The tan wire goes to the ground on horn if you remove it and the horn stops then either the temp sensor or oil module is bad disconnect one at a time to find out whitch one it is.
